Mortified! Ear Cropping At HOME???
 

I was just recently watching the news and I had to post... More and More dogs are having there ears cropped at home with NO anesthesia and no pain medication! I am sick to my stomach! I want to go cut the owners ears who do this do dogs with out pain meds or anesthesia and say to them... Doesn't that feel great! What complete idiots! I am posting the article and I am warning everyone the pictures are disturbing!
This upsets me sooooooo much!

Those poor babies!! Why would someone do that to there pets?? A dog's ears are so expressive.. :(

Some breeds have their ears cropped--actually cutting off part of the ear. Great Danes, Dobermans, Schnauzers...

The dogs in that story are Pit Bull type dogs. It's a very common practice for people who intend to use them for fighting to cut the ears down as small as possible. For purposes of them not getting ripped when fighting. It's no surprise that people of that mindset are doing it at home...clearly if they intend to fight the dogs, then don't care about them in the first place.

Disgusting... I cannot believe that people are doing this at home without anesthesia! Poor dogs...

The cruelty that animals are subjected to on a regular basis is mind boggling and unimaginable. But look at what people are capable of doing to each other. The people that participate in dog fighting are the same people that are shooting each other in the streets. It all just makes me sick to see things like this taking place over and over again. Maybe I am just more exposed to these things living in such a large city but you cannot turn on the news without things like this being talked about every night.

I was just reading an article today about a man that stopped a killing. The teenager had been shot once in the leg and the gang member was standing over him with a gun. The kid was pleading for his life. Two men stepped up and intervened and eventually the gunman ran. What kind of a person can stand over a pleading child with a gun ready to blew their brains out? The same type of person the can hold down a dog and cut it's ears off with razor blades or scissors. It just makes me sick to thing this is the society that we live in and these same walk amougst us. :mad:

The really insane part about it was the kid that got shot was back on the streets that night. His friends were interviewed like it was NO BIG DEAL! :eek:

Horrific,that is the only word i have for it.
