No... they're supposed to sit on their haunches, not their hinies! The hind legs should be bent more so the part above the foot and the foot is on the floor, and their but is ever so slightly not touching the floor. :D

Like a rabbit! (sitting up)

Oh believe me, he is! His puppy kisses are the sweetest ever! I wouldn't give up the head bobbing, ears taped, long legs and chunk-a-dunk body for anything!

Some of them do.... not saying anything, mind you! Max is a real sweetheart and you know I love him to pieces! Maybe if you gently put his legs in position he would find it more comfortable? Does he ever sit right on his own or is that it?

I really hate to say this.... email that pic to your vet... it may be wise to have her check his range of motion in his rear legs.... do you have any videos of him running around?

I'm certain his range of motion is fine. I have a zillion videos of him running around. He can stand on his hind legs, bend them and jump. He's run around the vet's office.

Oh good! How does he sit? Tink lays down by just leaning backwards like folding table legs.. but all in one direction. Too funny!

i just realized that when i use the command "sit", he sits normal. But when he's just relaxing or very tired he sits strangely. Don't scare me! (again)

Don't be scared! Fynn sits funny, too, when he's tired or when he's been playing a lot. He kinda leans to one side and plops his leg out. It's really cute.

Yes I have 2 characters now. Max has been through enough testing that I'd assume they'd know if something was wrong. (p.s. he's 90% seizure free).

Katie would sit like that too, and she has short legs. When I do the sit command, she sits normal, when she's just hanging out, her legs kind of go to the side like that.

When Jersey was a puppy he was sitting the same way as Max when I realized he had long legs, I never noticed until then. He has grown into them nicely. I attached a few pics to show you :)

Jersey's are too :) The third pic you posted reminds me of Charlie -- he sits that way all the time and it is SO cute!! Charlie grew into his nicely too. When he was a puppy, it looked a little awkward because his legs came in first and he had a tiny puppy body. He looks perfect now though!!
