Kennel Cough?? I recently rescued my little "Toby" and he has become my little baby...I love him so much! When I first got him I was told by the foster mom that he had kennel cough and was treated with antibiotics. When I got him home he started this wheezing sound, especially when he was excited. It doesn't really sound like a cough though...more like asthma. Sometimes it will linger for quite sometime and it worries me. If I get him to calm down it will stop. Think I will take him back again to the vet...it scares me when he does this for very long. Someone told me they knew a dog that did that too....does this breed do this? Any ideas here what it might be? I can now understand why everyone loves their yorkie...I've found the perfect dog!! |
Check this thread out: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...d-trachea.html Sounds like reverse sneezing. I have a Yorkie who does that. |
