A club friend had a massive clothing sale...most were new with tags..I spent $150 and got $3000 in clothes...two sweaters had $78 each on them..one dress was $70, another coat was $98...I could not pass them up..won't buy clothes for years.

I've seen some adorable outfits but won't buy them. I am trying to grow their coats out and don't want anything to mess it up. I am into bling collars, harnesses and hairbows though. lol

I must be the odd one out...or maybe it is because I get to see the quality of so many various outfits, but I am willing to spend more on clothing because there truly is a difference in quality, fit, and design of some of the more expensive brands compared to others.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE louis dog and ruff ruff couture.

For those with boy dogs, check out ruff ruff couture.

I totally agree. My girls are in the Ruff Ruff Couture Ellie dress today actually. Oscar Newman comes to mind as well. My girls have some beautiful coats, sweaters and dresses from Oscar Newman, and you really can see a difference in quailty. You really can't put a price on custom made clothing that fits them well too, especially if you have a pup that often falls between sizes like I do.

I also dress my girls everyday, but if they had beautiful silk coats I think I'd like them naked more often. :p The other thing is unlike children once your dog is an adult they typically don't outgrow their clothes every year, so they can be worn for a long time.

I am dress obsessed! I try to stay 20.00 or less. Brielle has quite a few dresses from fairy tale fashions and I get great deals at Home Goods.

I love ruff ruff couture so much (and even more so their boy clothes) that my cat has an entire closet of ruff ruff items...haha

OMG! I would love to see your cat all dressed up! :D I wish I could have a cat (Rory does too), but I've been allergic as long as I can remember. I always try to visit with the cats in the "cat room" at Petsmart and start sneezing about two seconds in and need my inhaler by the time I get home. :(

It would be so cute if Piper and your kitty wore coordinated Ruff Ruff outfits!

Oh - where do you find the bling collars???

Beamer loves wearing bows. I haven't put clothes on him. I am trying to grow his coat:)

I don't have any picture of it on this computer and I am out of town, but I'll post some on facebook when I get back.

Jax was my clothing tester before Piper came along, so he has lots of clothing as well...

I attached my Christmas photo from last year.

Please do. That is so cute! I'm so glad you carry stuff for big dogs too. Before my girls, I had a bullmastiff, and I could hardly find anything for him, and the things I did find wouldn't fit over his big ole melon head.

LOL....this is what I tell my dh to justify my clothes buying obsession....."They will last her the rest of her life!"

Btw.....I love the fit and quality of Oscar Newman, other favorites are Ralph Lauren sweaters and Little Lily. I'll have to check out the Ruff Ruff couture:) Someday we hope to own a Hedy Manon sweater....ooh-la-la!

OMG.....talk about a sale - lucky you! Pat, I have to know did your friend have a retail store or were these all from her dog's closet?

Hee! That's just the tip of the iceburg. I also like to justify purchases (of all kinds actually) on a per wear basis. :thumbup: A designer purse you carry every day? A couple dollars a day if you carry it for a year! :p

I think you'd really like Ruff Ruff. It's nicely made, but it is cute and casual enough they can play outside in it, and you can put it in the washing machine without worrying. We have a few of the Ralph Lauren polos and sweaters, but I have a harder time with the fit of those. You can get good sales on them sometimes though on the RL website. :) I don't have much Little Lily, just some of the Hello Kitty stuff that I'm not sure they make anymore.
