WOW..that was big Wind!!!!!!! Hi everyone...I missed each and everyone of you. Wilma was a BITCH....but no damage to our home, a few shrubs and a screen or two., but others were not so lucky on our street. We are well, the Yorkies never reacted to any of it, they had a ball with all the new "hurricane" toys I bought to entertain them...I will spend the next few days getting caught up ....love to you all and I mean it. When you have that type of powerful wind trying to blow you to kingdom come you are reminded about what counts in life, God, family and friends, human and canine. |
So glad you're OK and no damage. It does take some powerful things to remind us of what is important. :) |
So glad to hear from you Pat!!! I am glad you and our family are okay and your house wasnt really damaged. I dont think us who were not in Wilmas path can really understand how scary it must have been for you. We still have one person on another forum we have not heard from yet. I hope they are okay too. |
We are so happy to here you are all OK. You have been in our thoughts and prayers. You never really know just how strong a hurricane can be. I think it should be time for this meatloaf season to be over. May God Bless you, your loved ones, and keep you all safe. :) |
So glad to hear you're okay, Pat. Go to Off Topic and look at the picture I posted on a thread "No offense intended" I'm sure you and your neighbors will be able to relate! |
Pat, so glad that you guys are okay. Hurricanes are too scary! |
We were worried about you and are glad all is well. That was some hurricane, we did not get much of anything, it went out to sea before affecting NE Fl. |
I am so glad you guys made it through the hurricane without serious damage! ;) |
Pat, so thankful that you all are OK and didn't sustain much damage!! My heart goes out to those who were not so fortunate! You were certainly missed ... I know it will take you a while to catch up, but as soon as you can, you have to see Sue's new babies [Snow Yorkies] ... they are just precious!! Good to have you back! ;) |
Pat...So glad to see you post as with our other Florida members ...I'm really glad you had no damage and have your power back on - Those things are SO freakin scary hearing the news and knowing what we know about Katrina that the time before the storm is almost worse than the actual storm - (NOT including Katrina & Rita in this statement) ...but it's stressful AND costly and just plain scary - I'm just so glad you all weren't in the brunt of this one & had minimal damage ....because it was huge too ...Hugs to you Pat - we were praying for you .... |
Hey, guys. I am gonna tell y'all something. When Pat still lived in MD they had more tornadoes and warnings in the past few years than ever before. Then she moved away and the activity has stopped. Now, she is in FL and look what is happening. Circumstance? I think not!! Sorry, Pat. I just had to tell that. The truth is stretched a little bit-I took literary license.. LOL |
Pat- glad to see you back! Thank goodness you and the babies are safe! |

Pat, so glad you are okay. Wilma sure left a mess down there. :( Hope this is the last one for a long long long time. I think we have all been through enough Hurricanes... |
