I bath Poppy every other week, unless she is dirty and really in need of a bath. I wipe her down with baby wipes through out the day to keep her clean. |
Piccolo gets a bath every Saturday and we use Minksheen for her body and Biogroom tearless for her head. |
Khloe gets a bath every week, and I use the Top Paw Gentle and Tearless Vanilla Milk and Honey Shampoo. It smells really nice and works really well for her. It's gentle enough at the moment to where we don't need a conditioner; however, I know we will be seeking a different shampoo when she gets older. We also use Perfect Coat Moisturizing Bath Wipes for daily use and for wiping her face, paws, etc. (: |

PEK Conditioner : Iv San Bernard (USA & Canada), Fine Italian Pet Grooming Products and Equipment This is a link to a *long* thread discussing the ISB PEK conditioner and other ISB products......but, I'll tell you right now before you go read.....you should definitely try it.....I've yet to have anyone tell me they were disappointed. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-jencar98.html |
hi, my guys get a bath once a week and get groomed about every 5 weeks ish, I switch between laser lites, keihls for dogs, and wen, wen is for people but it is a cleansing conditioner with no sls and sulfates. I like all of them but not love. |

We also like BioGroom and Vellus. We liked the results of Chris Christiansen Day to Day, but the scent was too strong for my nose and both my dogs'. Liked the scent and silkiness of PetSilk, but I think it weighed down Maximo's hair too much. I am looking forward to trying Iv San Bernard and Isle of Dogs. |
Usually every 1.5 weeks unless he gets really funky. We use Tropiclean shampoo and conditioner. |
Farrah is bathed 2x a week usually. I'm going to buy the Pek conditioner as she seems to have a cotton coat. Thanks for the info Jencar! |
i bathe my baby every 5 days, clean his face with wet towel after meal, and brush his teeth every day. I use PetSilk right now and it works okay. I'm going to try the Yorkie Splash and Shine sold by our member here right after I finished the PetSilk's. That one's got raving reviews but I didn't see it until after I bought the PetSilk. |
We have our Yorkie for a little over two weeks and since he arrived with a Kennel Cough we have been advised not to bathe him yet. I did bathe my Shorkie last week for the first time with Hartz Flea and Tick because she goes outside alot and I'm afraid of Lyme Disease. I'll probably bathe Zach with the same shampoo being that he will probably go out with Zoe when he's through with his shots. I'll probably bathe them once a week and inbetween I'll have them professionaly groomed |

sorry, double post |
Dexter gets a bath once a week and sometimes he could do with more. He loves to roll in any crap he can find, especially if he has just been bathed. :) |
I'd be interested to see this. I bathe Teegy once every 3 months. Groom him daily. And chuck him in the shower for a rinse off when he's been out playing with his pals |

I bathed my girls every week or so using Jerob's Cocoa Butter and Mink Oil Shampoo. It is very conditioning for their coats and skin, so it was fine to use every week. It can also be used on puppies. It makes their hair very silky, and there isn't a need for conditioner. I've used this shampoo for 17 years. It used to be made by a company called House of Anju, but Jerob bought it from them. I've given some to a few friends whose dogs were having problems with allergies and hot spots, and it has always helped them. It is highly concentrated, so it lasts a long time. Some I let go for 2 weeks because they seem not to smell as bad or matt. I have a couple that I do it every week unless something happens they need it twice that week..you know like the dreaded poop stuck to the butt..lol I have used every product I think on the market..lol I go back to Pantene everytime. It makes the coat easy to comb out. SInce I just got trimmer happy mine are looking pretty sad right now..waiting for them to grow back out but atleast they were cool for the summer. |
I use anything anti-dandriff for "lil man"! It fluffs him up great, smells good, and always seemed to make his skin really clean! Try it out!:) |
I bathe mine once a week, I use Perfect coat shampoo from Petco and Suave conditioner. I bathe them on Sunday but by Friday the could use another one. |

Question. Why do you bathe them so often. Teegy doesn't smell and doesn't it strip the natural oils out of their hair |

Thanks every one for posting  |

Not sure about everyone else but Izzt has 3 other 3 dog she plays with here at home. They "tuck n' roll" all day, inside and out...they get smelly. she slepts with us everynight so i can't have she stinky;) Izzy is the only one that gets a bath every week.. because yorkies have "real" hair... and to keep it looking nice a bathe her... If a go over a week w/o bathing her... Her coat doesn't look as nice. |

A mild shampoo shouldn't strip the hair. |
Sassafras gets horrible dry skin if I give her a bath weekly. I've been bathing her every two weeks and in between that brushing her daily and rinsing her off and spraying her with relief spray for the dry skin. We also use baby wipes and she gets her pretty little face cleaned daily. |

Mine play and roll around in the grass and dirt, so they need weekly baths. |
I only bath Sophie Kate every two weeks, use Minksheen on her. I do wipe her off everynight before bed with a baby wipe and I brush her every morning. Sophie Kate has a short cut so maybe that helps with the bathing. |

Sassafras also has a short cut. :) Sophie Kate is a cutie! |
