cats and puppy are not getting along Winston is 3 1/2 months old and is a doll, but like all yorkies he likes to jump. It is driving my 2 two year old cats nuts. Does anyone have any ideas? They go crazy when he runs up to them. I am sick over it, I love them but I won't have them being mean to Winston. AND Winston is staying, I love him, he's my baby. p.s. The cats get lots of loving from both Gil and I so its not like Winston is getting it all. We have been sure to give everyone equal time. Any ideas gang? thanks |
Have you had Winston long? I have 3 cats and it took one of them nearly two and a half months just to stop hissing at Bridget - and he was the one she was determined to pester. I didn't think it would ever end - now Bridget jumps on him and chews on his ears - when he's had enough - he'll swat her (he's declawed) and she'll stop....(for about a minute). The cats have a kitty condo that they can go up into to escape the "Wrath of Bridget". I also put up a baby gate to seperate one room (the front room) that they can jump over to get away. I also put their food on the other side of the gate so they can eat in peace. I hope it gets better for you...and your fur-kids. |
