Potty Training Hey, Just wondering how long it took to potty train your yorkies? Millie is 4 months now and is still having accidents but making some progress thank god! |
Potty trained? Yorkies? What? lol, j/k. They can be the most difficult, Rizzo is 8 months now and when he is at my house he goes outside only, or on the pee pads if I am away. However when at my bf's place he seems to think rules don't apply. So, still working with him on that front, but for the most part he is coming along fine. :D Good luck, and have patience, cause these little ones know how to test it :animal36 |
It takes time and patience. Some train quicker then others and some dont train at all LOL :) Poppy will be 13 weeks on friday and shes doing okay. If I see her sniffing the floor and say "want wee wee?" she will run straight to the back door to be let out. If I dont say anything then 70% she will go straight to her pad which is at the back door. But we still have accidents, like this morning when she squated for a poop on my bed  I didnt think I could move so fast that early in the morning, I was like a freaking ninja  Just be patient with her and she will learn, good luck! |
Mya is nearly 8 months and we're seeing some progress, finally. She has 1 accident a day, most days, sometimes 2 when I am not being diligent enough on getting her outside. Oliver is 100% trained, no accidents, ever - he's such a good boy lol. Think it depends on the dog, some are a lot more stubborn than others. |
