Oh Boy Hi Mom a Life story on recent posts
 

I'm only little about one pound or so and my breeder let me go to you.

I'm excited to be home, but scared too. I'm not sure I want to eat, or drink, it's all just so scarey.

Phew Mom we made it through these last two wks, I just love you so.

Ooops I got too many vaccines at the vet last week, and now I'm sick, I'm throwing up and have diarrehea.

Please help me Mom

Okay I'm well again (thanks to Mom and YT and that nice vet), but why Mom don't you take me out to exercise? I have lots of good energy and I need to just play n run.

Oops Mom I think something is going on here. I think I'm growing up. Why do you tie me up on a string. Some bad doggies got to me.

I've had to go into the vet now. I'm still a baby, but I feel full. I think I'm having pups.

Mom what do I do? Oh YT comes through again.

I'm having babies now Mom told me so. But I'm just a baby myself. Don't know what to do. Oh my the birth has come, what do I do? Nothing, so a baby doesn't make it. Mom didn't know what to do either.

I don't feel so well now, pups have gone, but I have no energy. Mom is going to ask YT what to do.

You see I'm only four pounds, and Mom put me out there again, and never watched me, and this boy came over for a visit. OH NO.....

Well I guess Mom knows best. But why do I hurt so much???

Yes it does we hear it here at Yorkie Talk every day, with variations perambulations, rationales, each and every word there described a situation I've read about in the last month here, and sometimes more than once.

So I ask to paraphrase Mother Teresa in her speech when accepting the Nobel peace prize ; I ask you not what you think But what you will do?

Each of us has a tiny measure of life to do with what we will. Each of us can make a choice, to type a few words, to donate a few $, to stop by the wayside to pick up a dog, to rehome, to nourish, to guide or to lead.

So here you stand and here I stand, both bonded by a love of dogs, a desire to do right by our God's gift to humankind. How can we help, how can I make a difference?

In small ways each and every day. Find a cause for dogs, that speaks volumnes to you, and do a bit every day.

The greatness of Man as judged in the distant future will not be measured by his artifices, but by how he treated Man's best friend.

What a beautiful and inspirational post. Brought tears to my eyes. It reminds me I need to donate again to a rescue again, since I am not really in the position to do any other types of rescue at this time. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
