Nutri-Cal Puppy so after reading this morning, i saw that Nutri-Cal Puppy is VERY highly recommended. so i just went and got Hazel some. Now my question is, how am i supposed to measure this stuff out? on the tube is says "to supplement your puppy's caloric or nutritional intake: 1/4 tsp per pound of body weight daily" and then it says "when your puppy is not eating its full ration: 1/3 tsp per pound of body weight daily" am i really going to have to get the measuring spoons out? And is this the only tube i should buy, or should i continue use of this until shes a certain age? |

I use to put a small dot on my finger and gave it to Bailey.. Now he eats like a fatty, so I haven't been using it much. I heard you can rub a very small amount on there gums.. Sorry, not the best advice-giver. |

but, am i just supposed to give her this one tube? |
The only time you need to give it to her is when shes not eating or sick. Nutrical isnt a cure all preventative for hypoglycemia though youve got to get her to eat or she will go down. Try some of the gerber baby food meat sticks thats what M<y little Jewels would eat when she first came home. Canned food can entice them to eat also |
