you're amazing! All you lovely people who come on here night after night, giving information and help to others are really amazing. I have read some threads tonight that have made me so angry. How you manage to stay patient and give constant support to people who are often irresponsible and sometimes downright stupid, is awesome. Keep up the good work that you do. I know i couldnt do it. I just wanted to say thank you for all the hard work you do to help others take care of their yorkies. You often get insults thrown at you, but you keep coming back and helping people, and sharing your experience. I'm angry, very angry with at least 2 threads i have come across in the last few minutes. I'm off to bed to snuggle with my 2 rescue dogs, one a puppy mill girl and the other a little girl who was abandoned by a greeder who decided she was too big too make money from. I dont know whether to be mad or sad. |
I sure can't take any credit for the difficult ones, but I sure do appreciate the ones who work so hard to educate others, especially when they get treated so badly in return. Those people deserve a lot of credit. Thanks to all of you!!! And still some people have no shame and choose to remain in stupid mode regardless of anything presented to them. Go figure! It sure makes you wonder why they ask questions when they really don't want to hear any answers. |

I hope some of our wonderful breeders here will see this thread, it's great that people understand what they are trying to do, and I know they must get overwhelmed at times. To all the breeders who post at Yorkietalk not to sell dogs, but to help educate, I applaud you! |

:bravo::bravo::bravo::bravo: I agree with you 100%!! Some of the threads I've heard tonight have me so upset that I hope I don't get in trouble if I was too "hard". It just really hurts my feelings that some people are so thoughtless!! :( |
Me too! So angry at several irresponsible threads. It's funny because I do get mad. I don't think I am awful, but I do say what I think. Then I sat back earlier and was thinking (specifically about Mardelin) but many, many responders and wondered how they stay calm and keep their cool. I realize I still have much to learn from Yt! Maybe someday... |

Thank you Molliesmom54 for echoing the sentiments of many of us who frequent the boards looking (and finding) knowledge from people with both experience and integrity. All change begins with education. |

There are so many little dogs out there desperately needing loving homes, and people whose every waking moment is spent trying to rehome and rehabilitate discarded dogs and puppies, and educate owners...and then you have the irresponsible people who dont give a damn and carry on breeding or who let their dogs breed accidently (eg..putting un-neutered dogs of the opposite sex in the same room and then wondering why one gets pregnant!) anyway...im jumping off my soap box...for now! ;) |
2 Attachment(s) Poppy and Molly..hope it has uploaded the pics ok. |
Your babies are darling:love:!!!!! Someday I hope to adopt a rescue or three, when our family is ready:) And thanks for acknowledging all the great long-timers here that take the time and love to keep reaching out, over and over again, to those that sometimes don't appreciate it. Thanks to all of the experienced breeders here, I learned very early on in my puppy's lives that I did NOT want to breed after all:laugh: I'm not cut out for it, and neither is my bank account:p |

Sadly Poppy is very frightened of the click of the camera, which is why most of her photos are taken when she is sleeping! |
