Try a Rescue. Okay, sometimes I really like craigslist. Other times, like this, it makes me sick to my stomach. You know, people, just GO TO A RESCUE. Don't advertize to 're-home your puppy.' I just.. GRR. I want to respond to her inquiry and tell her about all the dogs that need to be rescued from shelters. One that will be UTD, Spayed or Neutered, and IN NEED of some TLC. "I am looking to re-home your Yorkie. I am a stay at home mom that can spend all day providing the best home and plenty of love for a new addition to our family. I am willing to pay a re-homing fee but not an outrageous price, like under $200. I also want someone local, no shipping. I am looking for a female yorkie around 7-10 weeks old, is UTD on shots and has been dewormed. Potty trained not an issue if not I have plenty of time to work with her. Please only email me with "SERIOUS" inquiries and pics must be sent with the email. Please include your phone # and email address for me to contact you back." I don't know, something about this just rubs me the wrong way... |
I know what you mean about some people I was just surfing the net and the ads I see from supposed reputable breeders are just sickening. They will ship anywhere, they have 4-5 breeds including some "designer" breeds. "Send a deposit from a look at the picture on the internet, they'll be ready when about 8 weeks old. " It is heartbreaking to look at the pictures of the poor pups, arghhhh. |
...and on top of that she wants a potty-trained 7-10 wk old?????????:D |
See! It just HURTS me. I can't even look at the pictures any more. I mean, people, Yorkies are freakin' precious! But do you KNOW what goes into them? Apparently not! I don't even have one yet, I'm getting him in nine days, and ALREADY I'm creating a bank account for him just IN CASE something happens! Ugh, you dum-dums! |
