Just wanted to say thanks I just joined the Yorkie Talk Forum and i wanted to take the time out to thank all the community that has answered the questions that i have. You guys really make it easier not to get too nervous during my new motherhood. Just one more quick question. LOL my baby tends to have the cutest Ears that are still folding over at 12 weeks. When and how do i know when she will get the Yorkie erect ears. I still love her cute floppy ears too. LOL :D :thumbs up:thumbs up |
It is just a waiting game. My Ruby is 11 months and has floppy ears and I love both of them!:) P.S. Welcome to YT! |
Glad you are enjoying YT, there is no set time for a pups ears to go up. Some go up sooner some go up later, some dont go up at all. :) |
Sometimes it helps to have the top third of the ear clipped by a groomer. It helps with the weight of the hair holding the ear down. Also, you can, while you have her in your lap massage the base of her ears. Hope you can post pictures of your little girl. |
I have a picture of her on my profile but i dont know why its not showing up like yours under my name. |

Welcome to YT!!! Hope you enjoy it here. Roxy's ears popped up on their own at around 4 months. First one ear, and the other about a week later. Have read some pups can take a little longer. |
There it goes lol. That is my little baby Brooklynn Kouture. Thanx for the comment about the avatar it worked.:D |
Some pop up on their own, others need to be coaxed by taping, and others won't go up no matter what you do. Seems to be a matter of genetics. Up, down, half mast...they are all cute. |
