"Puppy Cut" pics please! I'd appreciate if some of you could post your babies with a "puppy cut". I want to be sure I can communicate it to the groomer next time Rocco goes. Tried to make her understand it last time but...not so much. |

Sophie Kate goes Saturday for her grooming, I will take pictures with the groomer holding her when she is done. We have decided to let her beard grow a little more and she has a visor (she is opposed to a top knot and takes great pleasure in removing her bow). One thing I did learn is that everyone has an opinion on how I should keep her cut but I go with what I want and what the groomer thinks will be most comfortable. One suggestion is search the forum for a thread on the Joey or the "Joey Cut" - very cute cut for a yorkie and what we are working towards with Sophie Kate. |
The last grooming Lucy had - they did her ponytail so cute! They trimmed her face pretty short but left her body fairly long. Very small beard. Then they had her ponytail (not a topknot) all spread out and she just looked like the perkiest little cheerleader! I'm hoping they can repeat that next week. |
Sophie Kate's avatar is tooo cute! Bailey's puppy cut is in her avatar - the groomer calls it a bear face. They do, however, trim the bridge of her nose between her eyes. Lots of ppl don't like that - but it works for us. Good luck! |
Thanks Karrie, that was our Christmas card from 2008 (she was a little over 6 months old). Learning the cut is one of the hardest part about being a first time Yorkie owner (beside the potty training which is NO FUN). |
1 Attachment(s) Here is one of Cpt. Jack. It took me about a day to get used to it. I really love it now. It is so much easier to take care of and he looks so cute! I love the fact that they left the top of his head a bit longer. |
