The Official Tater Jack's Transportation Donation Thread
 

Hello All with the approval of Admin I am starting the official Tater Jack's Transportaion Donation Thread.

Those of you that have been following the story of Tater Jack will know that he will be going to a little boy in Maryland named Kellen that has Spinal Bifida. He is the son of a co-worker of YT member LvLaila. Tater Jack was recued by eensor a few weeks back from a back yard breeder with his two little brothers (and a sister rescued by another member)

I have been given the go ahead to collect donations to get Tater Jack to Maryland from eensor's location in Illinois. I have a paypal account and you can also mail me donations to my address. If you pm me, I will be more than happy to send you the information that you require... Whether it is my paypal account address or my home address for checks...

Tater Jack will need transportation, a crate, and a health certificate. And I think with any extras maybe we as a group can decide if the money can be used to help eensor recoup some of the costs she paid for Tater Jack (cause as of right now she is donating him in full), some toys and clothes for the little tyke, and/or some money for the family to help pay for the vet bills in the initial months of Tater Jack's New Beginning!

I will be out of town from 10/28-10/30. But I will try to check my email as much as possible to get you my info ASAP. If you can do me a favor in your pm just let me know how much you plan to donate so I can keep track of the amount.

If we had your paypal account "user name" we could make direct donations into your account.

There is a tab at the top that says "make a payment' you click on that and it asks who you would like to make a payment too and the amount. Its very easy to~ do so please all of you that might be a bit intimidated to have a paypal account or dont exactly know how to make an uninvoiced on line payment~ dont be afraid. Its no big deal....

Online payments are going to get this pup to this family alot faster than snail mail...and Im thinking the transport company will need a reservation and deposit? Anything I can do let me know.

I agree! Let's get organized and set specific goals for how much we want to collect for toys/medical expenses/etc. What do you all think?

Maybe you can find out LvLaila's address and send them directly to her. That might be easier. Although I don't mind taking them either

It looks like the earliest he can fly is a week from Monday. There is a 7 day waiting period after you send back the signed form, which I amd doing tomorrow. I got him a travel crate today and a hook on water bottle. I'm going to hook it onto the crate here in the house so he gets used to how it works. I also got a couple of toys and some treats to throw in! Elizabeth

How is the flight stuff going for tater jack? So far I have collected $60.

I need to fill out the form today and fax it back to them. Hopefully they will accept a fax. When they get it, there will be a 7 day waiting period befroe I can fly him out. That puts us at next Monday or Tuesday. $60 is great! Did you ever hear from LoveMyBaby? Wasn't she going to pay his entire flight cost? I will put it on my card and then you can reimburse me. I got him a new travel crate and a hook on water bottle and a toy for the trip. I'm also going to find out if I can send anything else with him, like more toys, treats, etc.
