Newbie here! Just wanted to say hello. I wish I would have found this place a few weeks ago to help me be informed before I purchased my baby. I am a new owner of a yorkie named Harley. He is 11 weeks old now, we got him at 8 weeks. It is like having a newborn all over again. I had no idea what to feed him, what shampoo to use, or anything else. I have learned alot today! Hopefully I will figure out how to post his pic soon. Thanks for all the helpful information. I'm sure I will ask lots of questions. |
Welcome to the group. Glad you found us :) |

Welcome to the forum. Your baby Harley is absolutely adorable! They are indeed like babies and I will just go ahead and tell you ... it doesn't get better with age. Our Toto just turned seven and she is just as much a baby as she was when we brought her home at 16 weeks. :p The only advice I can give you, since you will soon have to leave him to go to work, just be sure he is safe and cannot get into anything. Make sure he has water available and all the little "comforts" that make him feel secure. If you "free feed" I would leave a little kibble available and plenty of chew toys. Are you pad training? Good luck!:thumbup: |
