That would scare me too! We keep Fizz at a distance & have her sit. We observe first the dog, next the owner's control of the dog and then we speak to the owner before Fizz gets anywhere near. Unfortunately, I have only come across 2 people I trust with big dogs. A couple weeks ago, Teddy and I met a 4-pack of the best trained greyhounds in the world. The owner was a true dog whisperer, a strange man walking around the city with no shoes. :p I wish I would have asked for his phone number to learn all of his secrets of dog handling. |
