Looking for disposable belly bands? Has anyone heard of a company that makes disposable belly bands for boys. They have all kinds of disposable diapers for the girls but can't find any for the boys. |
I've heard of people using baby diapers left folded and taped on as disposable belly bands. |
Good idea will have to try that.... maybe we need to invent one and donate all the money to abused animals. I really have never seen them and would love to keep some on hand and so would everyone else I know. Especially traveling they would really come in handy! |
For my 7 lb guy I use size 1. The tabs will extend enough to secure it in place. Then after it's soiled, I cut the waistband off (tabs attached) and use that on the next one I put on him to secure it even better. If you purchase the 'Winny the Pooh' style, cut out the circular picture of the Pooh on the back of the diaper... perfect size and placement for the tail to use on the girls! A big plus: the baby diapers are so much less expensive than the doggy diapers. You get 30-40 for 8.99 or less on sale, as opposed to 10 doggy diapers for 8-10 bucks. |

Very good info and very cute. Just cut pooh out of the diaper. Hey it's the middle of the night, I'm at work and no chance of sleep until after I finish at0700. :D |
great information.....I am purchasing mini pads and the belly bands at $21.00. Than they have to get washed everyday OY! it would be nice to have the real ones but you are right it is ridiculous the amount of money companies charge for animal supplies. I just went and bought a bag of doggie diapers I think I am going to take them back and go look for winnie the pooh diapers. Thanks again! |
That what I used on my elderly incontinent Bichon. I got them at Costco or BJ's. |
What I found to be a cheap belly band is Microfiber Dish towels from the Family dollar store. You can cut them in half, put a pad in it and use a piece of velcro to fasten it. Its fast, easy, adjustable and cheap. Velcro sticks to it without any sewing or any preparation. And they come in all colors. |
