I don't know. if you click to donate, I am seeing a thermometer that shows they have nearly $1000, but I am not sure how that gets updated and another post stated they don't count the money until later.

The thermometer on that page is only for donations for that particular fundraiser. When you buy tickets for this, it is not technically considered a donation.
I had asked that the money be sent direct, but things got a bit confused. Does not matter in the whole scheme of things...it all goes to the pups!

Maybe I can elaborate a little more......there are always different ways that YHR tries to raise money to take care of vetting for the Haven fosters. For example the YHR boutique, you can shop and purchase merchandise which has been donated to the rescue. Lets say you purchase our famous cloud 9 bed. :) The supplies and talent are donated from YHR members so 100% of your purchase of the bed goes into the YHR fund. We also have the Spare Change meter and if you make a donation toward the meter you will see the meter rise with your donation. If you make a donation to a specif Haven pup your money and name will go below their name on the YHR site or you can chose to make a general donation to all the Haven pups. We have also sold things like candles in the past and the profits from that went toward the pups as well. Recently, a subscription donation was added where you can decide on a set amount each month to donate.

So when you purchase raffle tickets that money will go toward the care of the pups but it is a separate tally from the Spare Change meter and the reason that I have been asking for your email address too. It's helping me to keep track of who is purchasing raffle tickets and how they want them used. I'm then sending that info on to the treasurer who is doing her thing from there. :)

I am guessing on this so don't hold me to it~when you make a donation on the Spare Change meter you will NOT see that rise immediately. It needs to be manually updated but wouldn't that be cool if it was automatic :p

Like Ladyjane said it all goes to the care of the Haven pups no matter how it gets there. :) Together we are all helping for the vet care of the Yorkies in need who are in the care of YHR. Thank you~everyone for supporting YHR!
