The Golf Basket consist of an authentic autograph picture from Byron Nelson,half dozen titleist golf balls,2stainless steel water bottles,a pair of Oakley sunglasses, a putter head cover from PineHurst, 2 limited addition golf bands a golf towel and bag tag from Glen Eagles Country Club.

The thank you board is for any vendors that sent prizes and also their business cards are attached. I think Linda did a great job putting that together.

The picture of the pups in the stroller are Linda's Pippi and Armani. :) You can see on the right of that picture the boxes for the raffle. If you were actually at the show you would get a roll of tickets and then you could pick which boxes to place them into.

It's still early and the show will be really busy on Saturday. Mobbed busy but a lot of fun too.

I can't wait for Megan and Lissette to get there and really start taking some fun pictures. Megan promised to take pictures of all of the prizes so we could see what they looked like.

OK...I need to get off here and play with my pups...it is rough on them for me to be gone all day. Pippi and Armani get to be with me all day and everyone else stays home. :(

Just wanted to get some better pics posted. I do know that Megan has LOTS of pics that she took today. Perhaps she will post some tonight.
It was quiet today ...but we had some good spurts and honestly we are off to a great start already! It is going to be a great show! :)

Oh, trust me, I had three of them taking ugly pics of me today. One was getting shots of me standing on a chair putting that new YHR sign up ... trying to break my neck.

Thank you so much! It is a work in progress. We first started four years ago and learn something new to do each year! I think the best part is that all you see is donated, including the booth fee! Every dollar taken in goes to the veterinary care of the Haven pups!

I am ready to crash OUT!

Never have I ever been so proud to be involved in such amazing charity work. Being at a dog show surrounded by so many others rescuing all breeds was so uplifting.

YHR has the most amazing donors, I teared up as soon as I saw the booth, it was just full of the most beautiful beds, clothes, prizes, just about anything you could or would use for a dog lover and their dog.

Linda, you are crazy, I saw your face light up each time you talked to anyone at the booth, you have a face full of love and are beautiful inside and out.

I think the pic that Jodi posted looks better than the real deal. :eek:

Thanks for the comments about the booth. We really do have a great crew! :) Started out four years ago with me doing almost everything because we were new and there just were no other members close to me.
It is a lot of work, but honestly it is a labor of love. :) It is a big fundraiser for us and at the end of the five days, when we count the money, it fuels us for next year. YHR spends a lot of money on vetting...many people would be stunned to see the bills YHR has. When things are difficult, some of our members front the money for the bills so that we don't have to turn needy yorkies away.

Will do my best to text pics during the day and I am sure that others will as well whenever they can. Today and tomorrow are super busy days, but we will be trying to get some taken! :)
