If someone knows of an airline that will ship him in the passenger section, let me know. Otherwise.......Tater Jack can be The Yorkie Railroad's maiden voyage!!!! |
Hi! I had posted yesterday that i would love to help. I am looking at the route and i see it's gonna be way out of my area. Way out! i am right off I-40 but no where near the vincinity of the route if i'm reading it correctly. is there anything i can do without driving? are there any items he may need? money for the trip? please let me know. |
I'm in Southern Ohio (about 4 1/2 hours from Indianapolis). I can help along the way. |
I'm in Florida so I can't help but I wanted to give you all an idea. How about sending a couple disposable cameras and a sheet of construction paper to sign like a big card for all of those who participate in the Yorkie Train? You could take a picture with each person along the way...it would make a nice momento for the new owner. |

That IS a great idea!! Also, Elizabeth, where can we send donations?? Those of us who don't use PayPal need to get it in the mail or it won't get there in time. Also, do you think the little boy's parents would mind us having their address to send "Yorkie Stuff" and cards, etc. to him?? BTW ... what is the little boy's name? Just let us know what needs to be done!! ;) |

It might be easier to send him via Wagginwheels. It looks like the cost would be $375 plus a crate. I'll contact them tomorrow and make sure of the cost. Elizabeth |
Where in MD is he going?! Im just outside of DC and I can drive a little ways out to end the "train". Please let me know, I want to drive!!!! And do you mean the last weekend of Octobe or the first one in November? |

aWH THAT IS SO SWEET...I am glad Tater Jack is going to a great home...I secretly wanted him( I read the story, and said ok don't ask for him)....I am happy...Hey...I can't help out on the driving part, but if the train or bus ticket's aren't to high I can come up and get him and hand him off if someone would meet me at Union Station in D.C. |
