Strange Urine Situation - Please Advise I am going to try and be as thorough and yet brief as I can so please bear with me. This all started a few days ago when we would notice strange "stuff" (wasn't sure what it was) on the floor of our bedroom and the house. On her wee wee pads (which we lay down when we leave her for long periods of time) we found what appeared to be dark yellow vomit. The very next day, we found white/yellow mucus/vomit on the hardwood floor. I read online this was likely a result of being hungry and was just excess bile. Then started finding what looked like multiple pee spots in the morning when we would wake up. We just got the carpet cleaned last night and woke up this morning to find 3 distinct pee spots within maybe 5 feet of one another. Each was dark and almost sticky and very difficult to get out of the carpet. My gf is convinced she is fine and they were just pee spots but I find it odd that she would wake up to go three distinct times, especially in light of some of the other things we have seen/ Does anyone know what could be going on here? I am thinking about taking her to the vet but don't even know what I would tell them :( Please help our little kona if you can. |
This dosn't sound right at all, so do you think the brown stuff is wee or vomit? Either way I would take her to the vet ASAP it could be a urine infection or something more serious, Its always better to be safe then sorry. If I ever have any worries with my dogs they go straight to the vet. |
You mention that she has been throwing up bile, has dark urine and from what you additionally mention she is having problems fully emptying her bladder while urinating. With all of these things going on she absolutely needs to be seen by your vet~today. I'm not a vet but I could take a guess and she possibly might have a UTI. But only your set will be able to diagnose and treat her properly. Please keep us posted on what the vat has to say. Good Luck! :) |
Anything strange with the urine and its time for a vet. Good luck |
I just called the vet and they are having the doctor call me as soon as she gets in. Will likely go over this morning and get her checked out. She's sad :( Sad face "daddy help me feel better" http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4119/...a9458454_b.jpg |
yikes I would be worried and on the way to the vet, also. Hope it's nothing liver or kidney related.:confused: A UTI is not good but better than some other options. :( |
I know I was reading about kidney related issues and I really hope that isn't the problem. I hope the vet finds it's just a UTI or maybe something she ate... :( |
When it has been going on for a few days and you start wondering IF you should take her to the vet, then follow your gut instinct and go to the vet. When in doubt it's better to be safe than sorry and these little guys can go downhill pretty darn fast. She is the most adorable little sad-faced girl! You just want to pick her up and cuddle her to pieces. |
Glad you're going to the vet also. Just tell her 'Daddy's going to make his little girl all better':) |
