A one year old puppy?! My one year old yorkie still looks like a puppy with black tan and grey hair! When will he start looking like an adult? |
He might not ever change!! I have two that are still their puppy black and tan and I love it!! That's why I got them so they could be puppy-like forever!!! Just enjoy it!! |
Some pups don't change into their adult coat until they reach 2 or 3. I have a 2 year old that is still black and tan. He started to lose a lot of his dark coloring on the top of his head when he was a year old. At least that's how he was when I got him. His head is more tan/gold now than he was last year. |

I always wanted yorkie who would keep puppy color. while ago, I saw one in pet store, so even though I wanted him sooooooo bad, I turned my back on him. No matter what, I couldn't support puppy mill by buying him from the store.:( I just adore puppy-like look!!!:D PS: Do you know if your babies' line is all black tan color? I'm looking for breeder who has that color line(it is hard cause breeders concider it as fault color) |
I never had a problem with him being puppy-ish. Just wondering. :) |
My Bailey at 15 months still has his puppy colors too, I love it. |
