When did your pups color start to change?
 
I am so in love with this breed and would love to see before pics and pics of their coloring starting to change if you guys have them :) My lucy is still fully black everywhere at 10 weeks and cant wait untill she starts changing. :D When did you notice a change in your yorkie pups color? I am assuming its different for every pup. <3:animal-pa

Troy was 12 weeks when we got him and his color started changing from his head first around 15 weeks. He'll be one next week, so he's been changing a lot lately. I don't have pics, but by this afternoon after his grooming I'll post something.

Poppy is 8 weeks today and she has got some tan hair coming through the black on the top of her head.. but her back is still completley black :)

My little Oliver is 14 weeks and the coloring on his head has started changing a bit, hehe he looks like he's going gray but both his mommy and daddy wre blondies so I'm pretty sure that's what he's going to look like :) I can't wait to see the changes though!

Hot Rod was 15/16 weeks old when we got him and he had a white spot on the top of his head already. By the time he was 6 months old, his face was tan/gold and his head was completely white! His body was/is black. He look like he was made up of 2 different dogs, the white stopped right at his neck. lol

My Jewels started changing at 3 months and shes 5 yrs now and still changing

I could see silver roots on Jackson's head when I brought him home at 9 weeks old. So I knew he was gonna turn lighter. After his first haircut at 4 1/2 months old, there was a big difference in his head color but his body was still black, after his second haircut his hair was no longer the puppy black but more of a dark silver color. Third haircut (I think he was 8 months old) his back was a really light silver even with some white patches in it. He stayed a light silver for a while and at a little over 1 year old, he got shaved up again and his back was really dark, almost black again! LOL now he's staying at a silver color but it's not as white as it was. He is 1.5yrs old now. My little chameleon! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...chameleon.html

That's just how Sambo is changing, thank you for posting the pics. He is adorable, now I think I know what Sambo will look like when he's older
