Sponsor Links at Top of Page Did anyone see the sponsor link at the top of the page. "Yorkie Breeder Network" :thumbdown I clicked it and they're selling pups as young as 5week old!!! They charge ridiculous amounts for these dogs too! NO ONE SHOULD EVER BUY FROM THEM!!! Can you say BYB!! PUPPY MILL!!!! |
I have yet to come across that one.. I hope I never do They just make me so sick. |
I missed it too. How do they get to advertise up there? |
:thumbdown:mad: I saw it the Sponsor Link but didn't click on it. Hummmm I wonder if it's a pay per click ad -- we could certainly have some sun with that. |

Puppies for Sale | Puppy Breeder | Buy a Puppy Good idea...they do pay everytime someone clicks the banner...so we should all help them out..LOL! |
I saw that too and was saw upset by it, but was afraid to say something. I clicked on it and it was a page of about 40 yorkies puppies :thumbdown so basically a puppymill via website? or a broker. I was very disgusted! |
Do not click on the ad! No, we should not click on the ad or that ad will keep on running because by clicking on it we are showing we like it and is making someone some money. If they don't make money on ads like that they are force to change them to other ads that will make them money. |
I missed that but I hope admin does something about it, that is NOT the sort of advertising this site should be supporting. |
Bump!!!!!! I saw this and it makes me sick...I will not even click on it!! |
Unfortunately they dont have any control over what ads show up on here. We asked Admin about it once |
Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks more like a venue for breeders to advertise their pups. I don't think the site has the puppies at all. It looks almost like they are a middle man - I guess more like a broker but I'm not sure that they have any dogs at all. Interesting to note was that they provide a lifetime death/loss guarantee. If your pup is lost, the will give you 50% of their cost toward another pup. I'm not sure though why anyone would go to them instead of directly to the breeder or why a good reputable breeder would go thru them but I have only had a quick glance so I guess I won't jump to any conclusions. |
Very interesting! I googled the address. They also have: goldenretrieverbreedernetwork.com beaglebreedernetwork.com papillionbreedernetwork.com bulldogbreedernetwork.com dachshundbreedernetwork.com boxerbreedernetwork.com pugbreedernetwork.com rottweilerbreedernetwork.com pomeranianbreedernetwork.com frenchbulldogbreedernetwork.com shihtzubreedernetwork.com siberianhuskybreedernetwork.com schnauzerbreedernetwork.com englishbulldogbreedernetwork.com maltesebreedernetwork.com havanesebreedernetwork.com chihuahuabreedernetwork.com germanshepherdbreedernetwork.com labradorbreedernetwork.com bichonfrisebreedernetwork.com bostonterrierbreedernetwork.com Think they got just about every breed covered! Located in Coral Gables, Fl The guy who owns those domains is here: WhoIs Search Results yorkshireterrierbreedernetwork.com domain name had expired, so I checked on the bostonterrier one and others. They are active domains. |
Same person owns thebreedernetwork.com - where all the breeds are listed. Only he got the domain by proxy for that one. Was created April this year. |
