Mission Impossible!!! Holy sweet crackin' nuts!! How am I supposed to keep a very frisky little boy from running and playing after neutering........especially when his playmate is just as active as he is??? |
I feel for ya...went through this about the same time last year. With boys it is so hard, because they feel better so quickly. I will be thinking of you. |
Also he is licking and licking. I guess that is OK? |
You should try and keep him from licking the incision site as it can get infected. Good luck on keeping him still. I know once Hot Rod was up and going, he was jumping on and off the couch! :eek |
It's next to impossible. Pixie is recovering from LP surgery and is on crate confinement for 3 weeks. There is no way I can prevent her from jumping up if someone comes in or I leave. Just try and do the best you can. I have been carrying her a lot to keep her from moving around a lot. |
After Chase got neutered last year, I kept him on a leash for the first 5 days. He wasn't crazy about it, but I wanted to make sure he didn't hurt himself. |

Neutering slowed my Rily down for about 4 hours..then it was back to business. He licked his stitches too, even removed them, but he did great and had no problems. :D |
