Praying for her safe return. could she be hiding around the house, in bushes etc? I would call animal control and your local police non emergency number and they can maybe have their patrol officers keep an eye out. Just call her name and try and get as many people you can helping you. Call on neighbors, see if any older kids can help. Good luck, |
:(:(:(:( I always dread these kinds of posts - prayers you find her safe and in someones home being taken care of - the not knowing has to be killing you emotionally I'm sorry but try to think positive...Others have been found when it seemed hopeless!! |
We are praying for her safe return, sorry I have no other ideas then the ones that have already been given. hope she comes home soon |
Make flyers, go door to door and be sure to tell every kid you see. Hope you find her. With the possibility she isn't truly "lost"...ring your doorbell. That's how I've found mine a few times. Good luck. |
Praying for a safe return and that you find her quickly. |
Are you on Facebook? |
Lexi I hope you get her back soon. My suggestion would be to make a lot of flyers. Hand them out in the neighborhood, take them to the animal shelter and vets around your area. I would also post it on Craigslist with her picture and a phone number. I know that is a horrible place, but a lot of people go to that site and someone may try to find her owner that way. Good luck and keep us posted! Our prayers are with you and Lexi! |
We found her!!!! We found her! I have never had a more horrible 2 1/2 hours in my life. We are so blessed that she was ok. When we found her she was running down a busy street. It could have turned out so bad. I had made a quick flyer and we were posting and handing them out when we found her. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the advice, prayers, and suppport. Those that posted on their FB, thank you so much for taking time out to help me. Dana, you are so amazing for making that FB page to help find her. Michelle, thank you for trying to get in touch with the vet. Maybe I went into a panic too quickly, but I just was beside myself and didn't know what to do when we walked around and couldn't find her. You are an amazing family to have and I am so blessed. My own friends laughed at me because I was so upset. Thank you so much and I am so sorry that I went into a panic so quickly. It was just such a horrible feeling and YT was the first place I thought about. |
I am so glad you found her |
I just sent a picture of Lexi to the vet's office where my DIL works, which is in the same town Kristie lives. I hope she finds her soon and that she is just scared and hiding somewhere. I don't know any of the other vets in her home town and there are probably several. Do you all think I should try and call them for Kristie? I don't want to overstep my bounds but I just know she is concentrating on searching right now. I just live 30 miles away, but I am babysitting my granddaughter or I could go help. |

PTL you found her! I have had a couple of scares like that this summer, but not for 2 1/2 hours! I found mine quite quickly, but it is the worst feeling to have them missing. Hugs to you and I'm so happy she is back with you! |
