Alternatives to Ex-Pen??? We keep Bella in a expen when we leave her alone. We have wood floors and the metal is heavy and scratching them. We would like to switch to another type of pen. What do you suggest? Where can we purchase it? Thanks for your advice.:) |
Maybe something along these lines: Precision Soft Side Play Yard - Cherrybrook or maybe just get a baby gate and keep the pup in a puppy proofed room? |
1 Attachment(s) I have the same type of thing that Deuce posted. Roxie loves it! It's like her little house, with her bed, blanket, and toys in it. The one I have folds up nicely into a carry case, and has a top that can zip on and off. I don't use the top, but I know a lot of people want that to avoid having their babies climb out. |
Puppy Pen I use the IRIS puppy pen. It has little rubber stoppers on the bottom. I love it. |
In the meantime or while you are looking for another expen you can protect your wood floors by using a piece of linoleum. I bought a leftover piece of linoleum from Lowes or Home Depot and cut it to be just slightly larger than my expen, then covered that with a blanket and put our expen on top of the blanket. This setup works great, the floors are protected, and I can wash the blankets as needed. And, I didn't have to spend more money buying an additional expen. :) Teresa |

We have only recently packed the x-pen/carpet away: he starting climbing out of cage, and we don't want to risk injury... |
