Let me know if you are collecting to ship him, I have Paypal and will help if you tell me how. I can send to eroar2 if she is going to collect. Some one just let me know and money is on the way to help. |
I think that we have more than enough people here that are willing to donate money to have tater jack shipped to the little boy. I think we can come up with the $375 for wagon wheels (so that he does not sit in a cargo of an airplane belly) and I am more than willing to collect the money and help set up the transport for it. I can take paypal or have the money mailed to me... But it is totally up to Elizabeth! :) |
I have no idea how to set up an account for people to donate? Does anyone know how to do this? Also, someone earlier had mentioned that any extra money that was donated could be given to Chris's family toward Tater Jack's first few vet bills. Does anyone have any objection to this if we were to take up a collection for the drive? Just seeing what you guys thought. Kellen (little boy) is going to be so suprised!!! The family is just so excited! I was also thinking about clothing (because of the winter) for Tater. Maybe if anyone has old or 'grown out of' sweaters or anything, they might want to donate them for tater to keep warm. There are not a lot of dog shops w/ clothes around here, expecially for little babies. I order everything online - but I don't want tater to get chilly while waiting for his arrivals from ebay! hehe. let me know what you guys think. Again, these are all just ideas and thoughts. |
How great that everything worked out! I think that the little boy will be so excited to see Tater Jack! I was just thinking that if there is any extras from the donations for the transport that maybe some it can also go to Elizabeth towards the cost of what she paid for Tater Jack. That might help her recoup some of that cost. Just an idea? |
eroar: Send me a PM when you figure out TJ's transport costs :) I think your idea of sending the extra donations to Elizabeth is wonderful as well :D |
