does anyone know of a GOOD yorkie breeder in Michigan? We had a tragedy two weeks ago. My little angel zeke was killed right in front of my son, and my husband. We are still depressed. Someone told my husband that a new puppy may take some of the pain away. NO one could ever replace Zekie. I called my breeder, and first she told me she had 2 boys, now is changing her story to one boy and one girl and she is keeping the girl. I just want zeke back. |

I got Beamer from Peg Horner, she is located in Michigan. Very nice lady and Beamer is a wonderful little boy. Her website is www.northern-lites.com her phone number is listed on the site. She does not sell over the internet, so there will not be any puppies for sale on her site, but call her and she may have some. |
does she two pairs of parents? How old are those pups? |
and I am so sorry for your loss.. :-( rip zeke.. |
I'm so sorry for your loss :( I know Breny (her username) is a really great breeder in Michigan. If I lived closer, my next pup would be from her :) |
Breny Green of Green's Treasured Yorkies & Biewers. I just brought home my Biewer baby from her. She is in Michigan. She is also a member on this board. Here is her website: Home - Greens Treasured Yorkshire Terriers and Biewers She just had a littler of Yorkies 2 wks ago. Breny, IMHO is one of the best breeders out there. She is loving, compassionate and has some of the most beautiful babies I have seen. So sorry to hear about Zeke. Good luck searching for another baby. ~Kathy:animal-pa |
My dog was killed too..I understand you pain. *Hugs |
I know of one that I would recommend....I'll send you a PM with the info. I am not sure if she has puppies right now, though...she typically only has one litter each year. |
I'm so sorry for your loss, while you can never replace Zeke, I think a new puppy can help take the pain away, but it's really important to find a breeder who breeds with health in mind. I always recommend the Yorkshire Terrier Club (YTCA), they are the mother club for the AKC, and they set the standard. Breeders have a strict code of conduct and ethics, and you are more likely to find a breeder who is breeding, not for profit, but for the right reasons, and that's to improve an protect the breed. For breeder referrals in Michigan Yorkshire Terrier Club of America About The Club. I recommend calling a few and talking to them, find someone who wants to educate you first about the breed, not someone who's merely trying to sell you a puppy. Do not buy from any breeder who will not allow you to do a home inspection. |
Thank you to everyone who replied to me...It means so much. I have 3 sons who were all attached to zeke, it is so hard. |

:thumbup: I agree...she is a caring, reputable, and honest breeder. I would recommend her to anyone wanting a happy, healthy, well socialized family pet. |

Cindy either has a litter now or will have one soon. I think Sharon Has some. Not sure about the other two. |

Jim is an AKC breeder judge If they don't have a litter. It would be to the OP's best interest to get on their waiting list. |
I am so sorry for your loss of Zeke. :( You can't go wrong with a recommendation from Mary (Mardelin). |
