probably just a silly thought :confused:alrighty, so i am a teenager and i still live at home with my mom, stepdad and little brother and sister so my yorkie is very comfortable around them all. we have had breezy for about 2 years and he gets along with everyone. however, he is mainly my dog and we are very close (as close as a dog and person can get). he is my little baby and he gets very excited when i come home. well, i am in maine for about a month and i am worried that he is going to forget me! what if i come home and he isnt as excited as he normally is when he see's me? i now this is probably just silly but i am worried! i miss my baby and im worried he doesnt even notice im not around for a little while :( :(:(:(:( |
I wouldn't worry too much! There are videos of men coming home from war and greeting their dogs... who still remember them :) Here is one that will make you smile :) Read the video description... will make you feel even better! |
What a sweet video! :) |
oh this brought tears to my eyes! thank you so much. i feel much better :) |
My husband has to leave for 3 weeks during the summer for military and our dogs act insanely excited when he comes home. |
have fun on your trip :) the reunion will be a fun one! |
He's going to love you even more, if that's possible!!:) |
He will be so happy to see you and he will go right back into your normal routine. Have fun in Maine. |
Oh, thank you so much for that video. I loved watching it and yes....I had tears. I don't know which one I love the most...the man or the dog. So heart warming. And OP, I can feel how much you miss your little dog. I feel the same way and can't wait to hold her in my arms again even when I'm just gone a few hours. Your so blessed that your family loves your baby and vice versa. It makes the separation bearable. |
awww...that video is so sweet! You can tell how much they love each other :) I wouldn't worry about your dog forgetting you - I know for a fact I could leave for a year and my boys would still remember and love me just as much as they do today. Dogs are very loyal, and I can speak for mine when I say they're the most loyal dogs I've ever had. |
