Pixie is 2 weeks post surgery today.

We have made it 2 weeks post Pixie's LP surgery. She is having bouts of resisting confinement. I vary her crating. Sometimes she is on my bed with the crate and a rabbit x pen surrounding it. When I am gone I put her in the hall where they all lay when we are gone and at night I got this play yard and put it next to my bed and her and Roxie sleep in it. I take her outside to sit in the sun a couple of times a day for 10 minutes. She is walking a little better on her leg when allowed. The hardest part is when she gets excited (many times a day) she stands on her back legs.

All of your dogs are so precious. I am glad to hear that she is doing so well. It sounds like she has a great mommy!

Im glad Pixies recovery is going well. I hope it continues. It is no fun containg them so kudos to you for a job well done

Aw, well I'm glad she has some friends to keep her company during her confinement! I don't know how you do it. I could never keep my little man still, haha! Cute pics. :)

Ahhhh...bless her sweet, little heart! I can't wait till you get to the half way mark...then it seems to go faster for recovery. I love that play yard you got! All three of your babies are so adorable.

This was with Roxy too...She would jump up against the play-yard. It was so bad, I asked about a relaxer for her - LOL - but the Surgeon said no, try to keep calm.

I got the Rescue Remedy to give her during the day while I was gone. Not sure it helped, but it was worth a shot ;)

oh man Patti - they're SO FREAKIN CUTE and I'm so glad she's doing so well ! I know it's been a stress on you and so hard to see them hurting but it looks like she's well on her way to recovery !!

Looks like you're doing a great job, Mommie! They look so content in the pen together... I'm sure that has helped with Pixie so she doesn't feel so alienated while she heals. Keep up the good work! :D
