Furbaby bonding!
 

Hehe I was just playing fetch with Oliver, which he LOVES!!!, and got to wondering...what's your favorite way to bond with your little furbaby?? Any special games you all play or favorite toys they like?? :p

Pistol loves his stuffingless squirrel. My favorite way to bond with him though is him snuggling with me on the computer chair while I surf YT.

Merlin loves to play fetch too. He also wrestles with his stuffed toy buddies and brings them over to me so we can pretend they are "alive". And after playtime there is always cuddle time and we BOTH enjoy that so much...lol.

When Boo and I are in the yard after he goes potty he likes to sniff around. I put my hands behind my back and march toward him slowly and which point he goes down on his front paws and wags his stubby tail, then I take a couple running steps very suddenly and say "mama's gonna getcha" and he fakes left and goes off into a dead run to the right to get past me and runs a lap around the garden...then we repeat about 20 times...We both get our exercise, then we come in and I sit down to relax and he curls up in my lap for his nap.
We also bond at bedtime. After he sleeps on my foot for a couple hours watching tv I wiggle my foot out from underneath him and carry my passed out dog around the house turning off lights and take him to bed (he doesn't wake up for any of this), I set him down on the bed and climb in. Once I"m settled he wakes up and curls up next to me as close as he can get. I give him a little kiss on the nose and say "you are safe, you are warm, and you are loved, so have sweet puppy dreams and mama will see you in the morning", he opens his eyes, licks my nose and goes back to sleep for the night. We are both creatures of habit, but it's a nice little ritual and it works for us.

Well Lilli loves to play in bed right before bedtime, so we play tug with multiple toys til she is content. I adore that little time between us while the others chill in bed. Lotte and I do a special Lotte's day out. She was my first little girl and sometimes she just needs the "her time". We'll go to the pet store and walk around the park and just enjoy it being her like it used to be before the siblings came along. hehe Bouncer has kind of the same situation. My first baby so he needs special attention. We'll load him up in the car seat and drive through for an ice cream which we share. hehe I know, strange to most people but a very special time for us. Yodi is my sweet little boy. I love most when he comes up to me when I'm reading or watching something, leans up and kisses my nose unsuspectingly, then snuggles up just to be close to me. It makes my heart warm every single time. :)

Trick training :) That's Jackson & I's favorite "bonding" time I guess you could say. He just LOVES it because my attention is solely on him, he's sooo happy to please and so proud when he gets the right thing. I try to do some trick training (whether old tricks or new) every night for at least 5-10 mins. Other than that, he loves a good game of tug-of-war or fetch as well.

Poppy loves her rope toys and her fav game is tug of war, where I always let her win of course :)

We have the exact same nightime ritual with one exception. Instead of me carrying Brandi she likes to just run upstairs to bed.:p
