Does it really grow this fast?
 
I just had Roxie groomed almost 3 weeks ago, and her hair is growing like crazy already. I honestly didn't realize that Yorkies hair grew so fast..lol..I like to keep her "beard" trimmed that way when shes drinking water, it does not get messy and wet, but its growing like crazy too..Anyone else have a yorkie who's hair grows super fast?

Mine all seem to grow pretty quick when I trim them. Pixie just had LP surgery and they shaved her left leg and it seems like it is taking forever to grow some hair on it.

Bubba's hair grows fast. He is in need of a cut right now. Sissy on the other hand (at 5) has never really had a hair cut, just a skirt trim and her top knot is just about long enough to gather into a band. It has never been cut

My groomer and I were just discussing this at Pistol's last groom. She has one that comes in every month, one that comes in every six weeks and two or three that come in every four months. Pistol is in the last group. The only thing that grows fast on him is his face and chest hair. I usually trim those myself between professional groomings. His body hair grows really slowly.

I think every dog does, mine grows fast too even my pom, except of course for those who have short hair

Jackson's grows really fast too! That's why I prefer the groomer to do the short 'do.

Teegy's hair on his face grows quite quickly.
I have some hairdressing scissors at home that I use on myself and I thinned out Teegy's hair for the summer and did a skirt trim. I bought baby scissors with the round edges for trimming around his nose and eyes.
I figure if I can cut my hair I can cut his and he looks pretty darn good. Usually do it when he's having a nap in my lap.
For is face he sits on the toilet seat and gets a treat when I'm done.

Yeah my pup's grows so fast! He looks like a little furball right now but can't be groomed until he gets all his shots. By then his fur is going to be out of control!! :eek::p
