Need Calendar help please
 
When you submit a pic for the 2011 calendar can the pics be cropped and resized smaller? Or do they have to be the original size? The original size sent through email is hugh. Thanks for any info:)

Darlene, I think the instructions were to be full size??? I think that is how I submitted mine. It was a big file and took a little while to upload though.

Oh shoot, I sent it resized smaller, guess I'll try resending it in normal size, thanks Michelle!:)

Do you want me to look and see how big the file size was on the ones I sent. Yours may be ok.

Darlene - I copied this from the original thread about the calendar - hope it helps....sounds like it can be cropped - but not resized when sent.
"To make sure the pictures are of high quality, we hope that all pictures are at least 800 by 600 resolution. Please email us the full-size resolution (not resized) of your picture(s). The full-size resolution is preferred if you have it. Group Yorkie pictures are allowed. Cropped pictures are okay, but we are only going to take pictures that are not digitally enhanced (no Photoshopped pictures please)."

I have always cropped the pictures, but not resized them for the calendar submissions.

I have had to change the picture size on my digital camera before, because I was taking pictures that were way too big to send through e-mail. Now I use the medium setting, which is still very large. How big are your pictures?

Darlene, the pics I submitted were around 700kb each if that helps. The total size of the file for all three pics was 2.4mb

You have to be a donating member to submit to the calender photos, I think that's why you can't find it:)
