U know of course the new law passed for Mo. I am so happy!!!!!!!!! And their are people on here whom like to rub it into me that I will now make them eat bread the rest of their lives because I helped pass the law, Well if they were not doing anything wrong in the first place they would not have to worry about the New Law. The only movement I see on this bill is that there were some changes in the co-sponsors of the bill this month. Other than that the latest action was that the bill was referred to committee on May 25th! Please make sure you sign the petition and help the puppies. |
ASPCA | December 10, 2010 Voting, donating and signing petitions does do good! Check out 2010's victories! So much more to do but at least we can see the results of the momentum building up...right? |
Hmm time this thread was bumped up:) |

Texas puppy mill bill Go to www.capitol.state.tx.us and search legislation for HB1451. This is the proposed Texas puppy mill bill. It hasn't been voted on yet, just introduced, and there was a committee hearing on it this week. If you are a Texan, call or write your state representative (you can find contact information at the above website) and ask him/her to support HB1451. |

Just saw these threads about the proposed bills, esp. HB1451. Thanks. |
https://secure2.convio.net/aspca/sit...Action&id=2727 I'm with the ASPCA...and frustrated this is taking so long. USDA regulations are less than laughable...often pup mill brokers rely on inner state commerce laws to be enforced on them (minimal penalties, small fines, and are usually dismissed) in avoidance of any animal rights violations, and heath code violations etc. There needs t be uniformity...I can't believe this is still taking so long to go into effect. |
