Vellus products came in
 
I ordered the sample pack from Vellus last week. It came in yesterday, so today was bath day.

I loved the way it made Trevor's hair feel. He's only 4 mo. and still has lots of puppy hair, but it felt so good and wasn't flyaway like it usually is. And the smell is fabulous.

The sample bottles are 2 oz. and I mixed them in small bottles like 1T shampoo to 10T of water. So getting the big bottles would last almost a life time :p

Thanks Luk Tan for the recommendation. I love it!

I too have ordered and used a few times now Vellus products, thanks to Luk Tan's recommendation. :D I am very pleased with the results so far and have recommended it to others also. :D

I work in a grooming shop, but have never heard of this Vellus? What is in it and where do I find more out about it?

Vellus.com has a list of their products with descriptions, ingr's, etc.

It might seem somewhat costly but you dilute with water due to them being concentrated. The product's will last for quite a long time. ;)

need advice
 
I just ordered the 32oz of both shampoo and conditioner not paying attention to the word concentrate :confused: So after reading the posts about ordering small bottles I guess I have a life time supply :eek: Now I need some advice on how many parts of water to shampoo & conditioner? I wish I had read this post before I ordered :( I have two yorkies Sami (baby 3mo) & Tilly 10 years) so I was just thinking two dogs buy large so I wouldn't have to re-order too soon.. so dumb!!

Which shampoo are you ordering? The clarifying or show shampoo? Would it be too early to use it on a puppy coat (4 months old)?

So all I would have to order is the mini bath set for $9.00? When you say part, what does that mean? Is that in ounces? Like 1 ounce to 10 ounces?

Hi, i ordered Vellus Show Shampoo Concentrate , I tried last night to change the order but I couldn't unless I call their nimber and my time from their time was wee hours, and this morning I received confirmation of shipment. So is this to rich for my baby's coat? thanks

I was thinking of ordering chrissystems shampoo but now reading about vellus and it's great reviews i'm thinking twice about it.

It can be 1T to 10T of water or whatever you want to use, as long as you use it for both shampoo and water. The bottles I made up were small, so I used Tablespoons.

I purchased the introductory kit (or something like that). It was about $19.00 or so. It included both shampoos, conditioner, statis spray and a small jar of cream. I've only used the clarifying shampoo once, when I first got it to make sure there wasn't any residue from previous shampoos. I don't think I will ever order it again. The small bottle I have will last for years if I only use it once even once per month.

And yes, it will last a L O N G time.

Yorkie Rose was a groomer and she told me about those products a few years ago. I LOVE them..and for the dogs coats as well. I have used them on my color-treated, sun and age damaged hair.. They work well..You can order on line or there are distributors in some areas..

Can anyone give me some advice please?
 
I'm thinking about changing my shampoo line. I will consider using Chris Christensen or Petsilk or Purepaws or Vellus lines but I still can't decide which one I should give a try. Can anyone tell me which is the best for my yorkshire; I have a silky yorkshire coat. His coat is very soft like silk.

Can anyone explain me also a good way to make a hot oil treatment?

Does this product cause their coats to grow longer/faster? Or make them silkier? Sounds like a very nice shampoo, but then I paid a lot of money for a different one. It works well; I was just wondering if this one cause faster/silkier hair growth?

I'm not sure about the coat growing any faster, but I can say this is the best shampoo and conditioner that I have ever used! the coat will be so shiny and smell so fresh and clean! not like a perfume! and with sami he has itchy skin and I noticed after he is bathed he does not scratch! so it is also good for dry or flaky skin! this product is pricey but well worth it, I purchased the larger bottles and that was well over a year ago... the concentrated shampoo and conditioner lasts quite awhile!

Hi everybody, here is my yorkie Kenzo's pics after his grooming today. He just went out with his brother Hanzo today for a long walk. I bathed him as soon as we arrived at home. Has anyone tried laser lites line eventually? Please let me know what you think about the line.
