Take Your Dog to Work Day - June 25th!!
 
I've never heard of this before but thought it was interesting.

I was surfing the web and came across this information. The link below is a website that explains how it all got started back in 1999. Businesses, animal shelters and pet-care professionals from around the world will work together to better the lives of shelter dogs everywhere.

I know where I worked there was no way they would allow me to bring my dog to work!! But, hey, if you can, get the little one out and take her/him with you to work tomorrow. Good luck! :)

well i kinda take mine anytime since i do work for a vet, but i might take em' tomorrow just for fun.

I take my two Yorkies to work all the time, except when it's to hot
Everybody love them and when I don't take them with me everybody asks my why I didn't bring them along
Its a great way to socialize them
Also it's a great way to bring your colleagues closer and make everybody happier at work

It's all over the news here in Houston - which is something I'd love to do but I'd never get a thing done with my 2 so can't even consider it - when I got hired my boss told me to bring them and I laughed - there was no way - they're velcro dogs and wouldn;t do well with me trying to work and keep an eye on them

Love how the media is pushing it though

Yes, it's amazing how something so little and cute can bring everyone together and make everyone forget about all of their problems (for awhile!).

I asked yesterday if I could bring one of my babies to work with me today (it's a short day - we get off at 11:00). My two bosses were excited and were thinking about bringing their little ones, too. But then their boss told them we couldn't bring them to the office. :cry:
But, I only have 30 more minutes and then I'll be home with them again. :)

I hope the publicity helped some little ones get adopted. But, what a great excuse to be with your baby all day! IDK, though, sometimes I NEED the rest! I took mine to the groomer's yesterday and when I got back home, I was like "wow, 5 minutes of uninterrupted time". :D

My little guy got to go to work with me today :) We did have to leave early since SOMEONE got a little rambunctious, but he was such a cute little office mascot for the day.

Some people are just killjoys!:rolleyes: Too bad you couldn't bring them, but at least it was a short day! Hope you and your babies had a fun Friday!

This is so true! I take mine to work everyday. Even the grouchy old curmudgeon that works for us loves him. :D

I left him at home yesterday morning because I had some things to do and I couldn't watch him. Around lunch, old grouchy came in and said, "I miss my little buddy, go get him." :)

He's become a little barker though when the front door opens.
