New dog thinks Baxter is her puppy!
We have rescued a springer spaniel who just showed up where my husband works. She is a sweet heart. The vet says she has definitely had lots of puppies. We wonder if she was a puppy mill even though someone has spent lots of time with her. She will catch a ball and treats, walk on leash. Not potty in the house. She is deaf and has heartworms. The HWs are being treated. We think she is 9 or 10 years old weighs over 50 lbs. Any way - back to my original post - She thinks Baxter is her baby. He weighs 7 lbs. Now is 2.5 years old. She stays outside and checks him out from top to bottom when ever he comes out. He never goes out alone as we live in the country. She has even tried to pick him up with her mouth! She is very sweet to him. Has anyone else experienced this? |
