Trying to find a certain playyard
 
Late last night I saw on line a white plastic play yard. Now I can't find it anywhere. Instead of being round it was more square and had a little door to let them out. I was thinking of getting it to keep Pixie in when she is a little further along in her recovery. Does anyone know which one I am talking about and where I can get one? Thanks

I've seen the one I think you're talking about, but I don't remember where.

I have this metal one from Petsmart and I love it. With the vertical bars, they can't try to climb out and the bars are spaced close enough they can't squeeze through. The door opens so that I can walk through it when I need to. I usually use mine as an extra large gate, but it make a great play area, too.

Patti, IDK if this is the one you're looking for but I remember Ann posted about this pen a couple of weeks back. If I didn't already have 3 other pens, I would probably buy one of these.

Bonny, that is a good point about the vertical bars/unable to climb out....Miss Libby could use one of those:D

Wish you lived closer...I have a brand new that I need to sell. I bought the 8 panel one because I wanted Cooper to have a good bit of room while I was gone during the day. I thought it was going to work out well and was very pleased when I put it together. However, my little one crawls right over. I only tried him it in 2 times because I was scared he was going to hurt himself. It's 3 feet tall and still finds a way out.

I have this one and it may be more useful as you can remove side panels to make it smaller if you want, and then add them back in when she's ready for more room.

I had one but gave it way to my grand daughter. When Sissy came to us I got it to keep her from roaming the house but every time I put her in it and went out I would find her out roaming the house when I came home and little presents everywhere. She climbed right up the pen and jump down. So be careful which one you buy. You don't want to take the chance of her climbing it and jumping down. Try to find one with vertical bars and make sure it doesn't have little lattices that her feet can get trapped if she tries to climb

lol yep she is going to get the BUG lol and she needs one of those gorgeous dresses you make and for those that have not seen these dresses they are too die for :)

I have that pen and I love it. You can also add panels to it to make it big if you ever want to. Hope Pixie is doing well. :)

Thanks. I can't wait to get it. Pixie is still having a rough time but I am hoping in another day or so she is better.

Yep, Jen and Dvlshangel are right -- that's the one I have and I just love it! Very lightweight, but so sturdy and solid. Took 2 minutes to set up. It seems very well made and it's nice and open, not claustrophobic at all for Pfeiffer. I can easily fit her bed, blankie, toys, pee pad, water, and food in there :).

Out of curiosity, which one do you have, the 4 panel or the 8? There is the option on Amazon, and it's only $20 more for double the panels. :)

I ordered the 4-panel online from Walmart - it was $34 (on sale), free shipping. I got the 4-panel bc she would be potty training...so I didn't want it tooooooo big, where she could pee in too many places.

But this would be such a great little pen to expand, if needed :)!

I'm thinking this would be a great outside pen. If 4 is comfy and roomy for a pup, maybe 8 would be great for outside for like a bbq or something.

Oh definitely! The 4 panel is plenty big, and an 8 panel would probably be great for multiple doggies during a BBQ. Really no way to climb it too, which is a big bonus :).

I got that pen hoping to keep bubbles contained and out of trouble while we were gone. It is good in the fact that it has enough room for food, bed and pee pad. Unfortunately, miss thing jumps out of it. I am going to head to Home Depot and get some of the soft gardening mesh (plastic) and secure it to the top so she can 't get out. Just wanted you to know that a 2 1/2 pound terror can get out of it easily.

A few times I put her in there only to find her out and about a few minutes later...I thought my son had let her out. So when I go check the door is locked. Just to check what was going on I put her in and hid. Sure enough a few minutes later when she thought no one was looking she scaled it and was out and about. So be careful and keep an eye.
