Interesting that continuing to insinuate that all young people WILL get rid of their dogs is fine, but standing up for those same people is a "temper". I stand by my posts and believe they were a well thought out, articulation of my opinion- if you choose to read anger into that, that is your choice. |
Ok. Well I believe the arguing needs to stop, I believe I asked for EXPERIENCE not for you all to go back and forth on the subject. Thank you all whom actually gave your experience I really appreciate it and have the next 2 years to think on it. |

Are you a junior in high school? |

Exactly. It's totally ridiculous to state young people should not own pets. |

I no longer do rescue but I certainly saw my fair share of younger people/adults/families give up their Yorkies more than older people (over 40). I am not sure why you felt the need to stand up for this if you are the exception and not the rule. You should be proud of what you have done. |

And I'm sorry to the OP for going off track-- but it's bound to happen on a public forum with all these opinions flying around. I totally wish you well and the best of luck with whatever you choose with you and your cutie Cody. |

How do you know what I have experienced? What I have done in my life? How do you know I didn't have a dog in college? |

Wow, thats an lol moment. Since when did this turn into something about you? It wasn't and there is no need for you to bring it up. I didn't say anything about you and your life and frankly I don't care. All I said was you can control your yourself enough to answer my original question. And I think if you did have a dog in college you would have given me your side my now. Quote:
