Hair Bows for Yorkie Babies  Hi All. I'm wondering if someone can tell me where I can find bows to stay in our little Muffin's hair. She is 4 months old and the hair on the top of her little head is only about an inch and a half long and is still a bit fine. I'd love to put cute bows in her hair but I can't seem to find them small enough or that attach to her hair yet. Help! |
When my girls were babies - I had GREAT luck with bows from www.petedge.com They stayed in great - and were affordable enough where I could lose one and not worry about it - |
I goot My bows fromLawdogbows. They have different sizes. Snow yorkies makes cute bows also you could look her up on the members list and she has a link to her site on her posts. Here is a link to Lawdogbows http://www.lawdogbows.com/ |
Hair Bows Thanks for the responses. I will order Muffin some hairbows from both of these websites. I'll let you know how it turns out. |
Here is a quick fix: Use dental rubber bands (from braces) - and go to Total Crafts, Michaels, or any craft store. In the ribbon section there will be small bags of solid bows. They are teeny tiny, and perfect size for a yorkie baby! They are also really really cheap, maybe 10 for $2. I then took a small piece of thread and sewed the rubberband onto the back of the bow. It takes me about 30 seconds to sew and we are ready to go! They are beautiful in the Yorkie hair, I even have ones that have little pearls in the center. For fancy bows: I like Val's Bows on ebay!!! They are fabulous! I type in 'Dog Bow' on ebay, and you will see the choices. I like to buy the tiniest size, which you will see. I think there is 3/8, 5/8 and 7/8 size. I usually buy the tiny ones. If you buy them in a group they are only like $1 each. You can buy them individually or in bulk, bulk is of course cheaper though. I hope this helps! But the Craft Store bows really are super cute! |
[QUOTE=LvLaila]Here is a quick fix: Use dental rubber bands (from braces) - Where can I buy the Dental Rubber bands? I have looked on the web but still can't find a place to buy. Thanks, Sue |
I have a question about the bows. All the ones I've seen are attached to a rubber band. I was using these until I noticed they were breaking her hair off and pulling it out. (same as rubber band usage does to human hair). Are there some that I can use that will not do this? |
