Gracie was a little trooper Gracie came home tonight after her being spayed today and she was a little trooper. She didn't have any baby teeth left to pull so that was a plus for her. The vet said she did great and was up walking around soon after. She came home and I have to try to keep her from being too wild. She didn't even get any pain meds. She now weighs in at 6.1 lbs so she is doing great. What a relief to have this done now hopefully everything will heal well. Love that little girl. |
So happy to hear Gracie is home and on the mend. :) |
Awww, so glad that Gracie's procedure went well. Hoping for a speedy recovery!:) |
Glad to hear all went well with Gracie's spay. No baby teeth was a bonus. Keeping them calm is the hard part. My vet told me once that after surgery they "usually" won't do anything that causes them to be uncomfortable. Don't let her lick the stitches to much, keep them clean and dry and you should have no problems, but your vet probably told you all that already. |
So glad that all went well for Gracie (and mommy). :) |
I wish *I* was able to get around as easily after my hysterectomy as Bella did after her spay :D:. It's amazing how well most of them do. Pleased to hear that Gracie did well. Keeping her from jumping and getting zoomies could be a problem, but try (at least for a week or so). |
