sooo Mad im spitting Nails !!
 

I am soo mad and i dont know how to handle this ...last week i took my puppies in for there bile acid test so i left the puppies for 3 hrs with the vet ... as a result they fed my puppie science Diet all that nasty corn cause her to become extreemly constipated and she Mutalated her Hind end ... im talking bad they called it a devated rectum intestine was comming out and i took her to the vet on a emergency call he gave me pills cleanser and said i had to push back in her um intestines everytime she shoved them out cleanse her bum everytime she pooed and keep a lampshade on her head well my puppie cryed for a day and a half so i called them also the vet said oh maby she has giardia and i said my puppies dont touch the ground till shot two and i am so clean people make jokes about me and my kennolsal i wash my whole house in it 2 to 3 times a day! he took a fecal and it came out clean of all worms cocidia and giradia so when i said my puppie is in pain i cant handle this i droped her off for surgery where they were going to use gas on my tiny 1.2 pound baby and purse stich her hinny she came out fine but had to spend the night at the vets so i give them her puppie food I AM SHAKING IM SO MAD and wrote out directions they promised they would feed it to her as i directed ... this morning when i picked up baby billi they said oh she loves that food you feed her stool is a little loose and goodbuy well i asked for the rest of the five pound bag i droped off and ... IT WAS UN OPENED ... they freaking did it again since the vet dosnt want to be held resposible he gave me some albon and retested the babie all of this is due to lazy vet tecs who didnt want to open a freaking bag of food if my tiny babie go's through anymore discomforta i will get a freaking case on them my vet wasnt in when i said to the teck what did u feed my babie this is still closed she was like no there a tiny opening in the corner i put it close to her and said NO there is not and she said umm... wow then i dont know what i feed her !! oh man my bloodpresure is raising my puppie is crying and has a Tummy ache now and i want someone to pay do i have anyright here to be this mad she has been crying all week in pain and i want them to know what her tiny hiny feels like i just feel like crying with my baby this is the pic of the baby so you can see how tiny she is

I would not even be calm enough to type that. That is so horrible!! Why are so many vets ignorant to good food? You would think that would be first on their list. Last time we went I named off all the names we throw around here - Innova, Wellness, Canidae, Natural Balance... they acted like I was speaking another language and told me to feed him Eukanuba.

Poor little girl...I'd be livid too and crying to see her in pain like that. You're right to be that upset - it sounds like total LAZINESS to me and they should listen to your wishes....That's so sad and I really REALLY hope she feels better poor little thing

I'd have the vet tech fired and then I'd change vets. This is horrible.

OMG :eek: ! I would be soooo pissed.... I can't believe they were the inital cause of the problem and then to not have the courtesy to feed your food! I think vets should be held accountable for their actions... and I think people should not be so lazy.... I hate it when workers, of any kind, are lazy!!!

Sometimes I just get soooo angry too when I read these horrific stories!!! I am so sorry for your poor baby and you!!

AWW That poor baby. I hope she feels better. I think some times the vets act so stupid. you think they would know better.

Those people and I would have had a "COME TO JESUS MEETING!" I would NEVER go back there again and tell as many people as I could about what they've done! :mad: :thumbdown

OMG! that tiny little thing must be in so much pain :( I dont think I could calm down. You have every right to be angry. That is the sort of stuff that used to happen at my old vet.Too many mistakes repeated all the time.
I'm so sorry your baby had to go through this pain.

I am so sorry! That's just plain irresponsible. If it made enough of a difference for you to specially request it they should have followed your wishes.

sounds like we have the same vets office. They treat them like animals.

OMG! I would have gone crazy to if my baby went through this situation. I am sure I would have been very abrupt if my request for feeding a specific food was not followed specially if I provided the food. I am with you all the way. :animal36

That is totally ridiculous! Vets, of all people, should know that you do not switch food on a little yorkie, or more times than not, their little systems will get upset! I agree with others on here...find a new vet. There was no reason for your little one to have to suffer in pain as she has, just because of a test she had done! And, for it to happen a second time...that is nonsense! Poor little sweetie and poor you! *HUGGGGGGGG* Wishing her a very speedy recovery!

OMG I WAS GETTING PISSED OFF JUST READING IT! i cant believe those people ...to be so careless! its their damn job to be responsible and do whats in the best interest of our little babies!! you should definitely take some kind of action since this is ALL THEIR FAULT! Find another Vet!

me and billi naped all day in bed ...yes she sleeps in my bed she said this has been one heck of an ordeal I am trying to decide... do i hold the vet responsible for poor vet tecs they are his staff and it is up to him to make shure they have minimal brain power or do i stick with this vet a guy who when doing my puppie checks go's the full nine yards looking for luxating patellas dialating eyes to look for gen defects looks for Trachia issues and when my babies are sick and im low on cash dosnt hessitate to care for my fur babies and tells me he understand fur babies health before wealth ..... i think im going to go with my gut and call him on monday and talk to him about this and how i feel his Giardia comments were poor taste and a distraction from the fact that his staff sucks ! if 2 test show no issues there decision to change my babies food is at fault period and he KNOWS This ... oh im getting mad again and then im gonna tell him i will be finding a new vet
The really hard thing with raising a litter of puppies is if one needs special care you bond so tightly in 10 weeks ... im gonna cry when Billi moves in with the other mother .. just a comment for people who think raising yorkies are $$$ask me how much i make and how much my vet makes

I'm sorry this happened to you but I have a question. I feed my dog Scienc Diet and have fed her that since I got her. As a matter of fact her vet recommended it for her. Is Science Diet not good food for dogs? I haven't had any problems with it at all. Maybe dogs have different reactions to it I don't think your vet gave her this thinking it was bad food I actually thought it was pretty good for them. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

In my opinion Science Diet is not a good food.

So, the truth really is in the ingredients, not necessarily the label. THey all claim to be wholesome and "natural" and good for your pet.

I'd seriously contact an attorney and open a case. that's sooo wrong in every sense. I'm so sorry that happened to your baby!!!! I'd seriously take her to a new vet who has perhaps more experience with yorkies and puppies in general. wow, I can't believe that happened. some People just make me sick(referring to your vet).

Here's the thing, you're supposed to feed your dog the same food all the time, if you switch them to a different food too fast it can cause upset stomach, diahria, and other problems. so what her vet did was totally unacceptable. he should have asked her to bring some of her dogs food with her. but he didn't. as a vet he should have known what switching foods too fast could do. and also he should have consented it with her.
