Confusion ? Okay.. in a few days our baby Taylah will be here! I'm going this evening to get her playpent and a few other things to spoil her with.. hehe. Anyways.. I was thinking, at night, I will most likely move her playpen into our bedroom but keep her in there for now til she becomes a bit more adjusted and all... do yall think this is a good idea or not? Will it confuse her if I keep moving it like that? Like having it in the office/den during the day and then in the bedroom at night? I just thought I'd do this, as I know when Daphne was a baby she whined all night if she wasnt in the bed with us, or if she didn't know where we were--and this way it kinda eases her mind knowing we are right there, kwim? |
We moved Loki's cage for about a week and then ended up buying a second cage, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. We still move his beds around so he can be comfy when he lays wherever we are. He doesn't care. I'm sure it's fine. |
Sounds good to me. Im sure it will be fine. |
Confusion Watch her real close in that playpen. I used one for about three days while we were out at night. My husband put Ceeby in it one night about eight oclock then went out. I was away for the night. When he came home at eleven, Ceeby had chewed a small hole in it and clawed his way out. I put him in it the next day and thought I had the hole fixed. I watched him get out. It was pitiful. He was halfway thru and hanging there. Finally he got on out. I was close by in case he got stuck or something. So be very careful. |
I agree. A metal crate/cage is the way to go. Start with a tiny one (18inch?) and a divider panel. Loki still fits in his 18" and we use it as his time out crate and then he has one about 3 times the size upstairs that he stays in when we are not home and he sleeps in it sometimes. |
