just a question If you had your puppy for a year or over and in that time found out that the breeder was not exactally kosher not a byb and not a puppy mill but just not kosher and an oppertunity came up for you to take/rescue another puppy from this same person at no charge would you do it? The breeder has only one breeding pair and the only thing that isnt kosher is that there bread more times a year then they should be both are the right size for breeding and the right age the only thing hinky is the multipule breeding in a year....what would you do? no im not taking a puppy from anyone so i dont need a lecture just seeking opinion |
getting another puppy from this breeder knowing that he/she breeds the dog more often than she should is condoning the frequent breeding of the dogs(which is animal abuse IMO). i wouldn't do it since i would not want support what that breeder is doing with her dogs. why does this breeder breed her dogs more often than she should? if you know the reason, maybe you can convince her not to do it anymore. i knew a groomer convinced her friend to not breed her dog every heat cycle by explaining to her that it's not worth it economically, because the dog was having smaller and smaller litter, and that groomer eventually adopted that dog from the breeder so that dog can be spoiled and enjoy the kind of life every dog deserves to have. |

i dont know the breeder a friend of mine who lives in california asked me what she should do and i pretty much came back with the same answer i saif there is a reason why reputable breeders onky breed there dogs a certain number of times in there life time not even in just a year in THERE LIFETIME i said that just because she dosent have tons of dogs dosent make it not a puppy mill in my eyes cause thats really what it sounds like breeding over and over to make money now she just told me the breeder has actually been turned in multipule times for to many litters! hello red flag anyone! im seriously starting to rethink this friendship.. |

my baby isnt even six months and has already had a heat no way would i even think of breeding her on her next cycle shes already a tall and heafty 5 pounds but still..no way |
I breed 2 seasons then 2 off. Alot of it has to do with the female and how she recovers and if she's had problems with the previous whelping . |
