Libby & Faith are in the doghouse! This evening I was out in the back yard planting flowers...hubby was working on something out there and I had the dogs out. At one point, I looked around the yard to do a head count on the dogs. I only saw Maddie. I called Libby and Faith and they were nowhere back there. Then hubby saw Libby sitting outside the gate waiting for us to let her in! How'd she get out there...where was Faith? So, we put Libby in the back and went out front to look for Faith. I'm yelling, "Faith...where's my little tiny baby puppy?" I've said that since the day I got her if she was out of site and she always comes running when she hears that. I was checking the front and side yard, the neighbors to the North, and hubby headed down the hill. Praise the Lord...he found her two houses down in between a couple of houses. We live on a busy street and thank goodness she didn't cross the street! So, Libby and Faith are grounded...if I'm working outside and not able to watch their every move, Libby will be leashed. We watched Libby to see if she'd try escaping again and sure enough...she climbs through the slats of the fence...to the other side is a steep rock embankment because we are much higher than the neighbors. I've already put wire fencing in between the slats of two sections and have to go buy more tomorrow to finish the other sections. Here I thought we had the fence Libby proofed, but if there's any way out, she'll find it! Libby always finds her way to the gate and sits there waiting for us. She's such a little stinker...and then she takes her little sister with her and doesn't bring her home with her! I'm so very thankful we found them both. I was SO scared! Whew! |

Close call. Pretty smart to let them re-enact for ya ;) |

Such sneaky babies! How scary. I'm glad they're safe at home. |

Bet your heart was doing double-time for awhile! I'm so glad the sneaks were found.:) |

so happy it was a happy ending, after reading your heart stopping story even I was getting worried:eek: |

Glad they are back where they belong. I lived in North Dakota for 9 years. I do not miss the cold. |

(((((((((Libby and Little Faith))))))))) oh my gosh Connie what a fright that was. So thankful they are safe and home. I had just posted on a thread you had started with the girls modeling your Connie Creations, and then lo and behold saw this about Libbey and Faith, I was in a panic for you. I would scold them both but not going to do that, sending them a big hug each instead, just so thankful you and Gardell found them right away. Hugs from us both, Patti and Jack and girls. |

I'm sure it scared you when they disappeared. Glad to hear the little stinkers are safe and sound. Tell Miss Libby to stop teaching little Faith bad habits....;) |

Last summer when I thought I had the fence Libby proofed, I was standing watching a bunny in the neighbors yard. All of a sudden there's something chasing the bunny and it's...you guessed it...Libby! She's sneaky...that girl! |

Oh, that's a big scare, glad everything worked out. Something tells me they won't be in the dog house too long (just too darn cute):) |

So glad you found them safe and sound. A roll of stucco wire is a quick fix and it's smooth with no sharp points so is less likely to snag their fur . :) |

I bet you were frantic. So glad that you found them. |

Oh Connie, I am so glad you found those little stinkers. Tell Libby, nice try getting rid of Faith like that!! lol. They probably were looking for more bunnies. |

How scarey! Our older Lab used to escape & take his son with him, but never brought him home either! LOL! So glad it all turned out o.k.!! |

I can only imagine how upset and scared you must have been. Glad to hear your "babies" are back home, safe. |
