Weird Habit?? I have Pasquale trained to use pee pee pads . He's been doing very well with it...knock on wood. However, he wont pee if anyone is in the bathroom watching him. He NEEDS to be alone:rolleyes: Even at night, when my husband and I are getting ready for bed...he sits next to the bathroom door and waits his turn. As soon as he realizes we're both done in there..he goes in to pee. It's just SO strange. I'm not complaining because at leasting he's using the pads correctly..its just so weird. Anyone elses furbabies have a weird trait or habit?? |
That's so cute that he waits his turn to use the bathroom. I have read here that other Yorkies prefer their privacy too. |

I've seen both of mine be that way at times. If anyone else was around Muffin, she wouldn't go. Kacee is pretty much the same way. I always thought they were just being modest.:p |
My Bella was like that for a few weeks. She always hid behind a plant outside or on the pad that was out of sight. She is slowly changing but it is cute to picture them waiting in line for the toilet. |
Addie is modest about potty time. She can't do her business while facing you. She runs across the yard or behind something and always turns her back to you. Dany is somewhat modest, too. She won't look at you, but will have her side to you. Mia, our Chihuahua, will look you straight in the eye as she's leaving a deuce. |
Bridget will "go" if I'm in the room, but I can't be looking, or she will just stand there and wait for me to look away....lol |
When Addy was younger she would go to her pee pad and stare you right in the face and look like she was saying, 'alright I am peeing go get my treat.' |
LoL That is silly! Peanut usually will go any where... sometimes he is a little shy when he poos but for the most part he doesnt care who looks haha |
You think thats silly....In the morning when I'm getting ready, he KNOWS i'm going to be in the bathroom for a while...so when i'm in the shower, i can hear him running to the pad, almost as if he's saying "OH NOW is my chance...she's not looking!" Like i'm not going to know HE did it? He's the only Yorkie in the house...and i'm pretty sure my husband doesnt go on the pad (I think):D |

Pasquale is too cute! Your story made me think of all the advertisement commercials you see with family standing in line to use the bathroom. Pasquale could be a "star" in the making :D |
