We lost our 16 year old boy in December 2009. We didn't want a puppy for a year or so because of the emotional sadness of our loss. Well, we couldn't do it. On March 27, 2010 we became the proud parents of Bailee. He is now our pride and joy. His breeder is wonderful!! He was so well socialized when he joined our family at 12 weeks. He is very friendly, and has become the the popular guy in the neighborhood. He will soon be 5 months old and we love him more each day!

So sorry about the loss of your Hutch.
Glad Your little Bailee was able to fill your heart and comfort you. He is a little sweetheart no wonder he is the popular guy in the neighborhood. :)

I completely understand how you feel. I thought I didn't want another yorkie for a long time, if ever. But...I'm sorry you lost your Hutch.:( But I think they show you so much love that there is too big of a hole in life without them. Your new puppy, Bailee, is cute as can be. He's lots of fun, isn't he? Congratulations to you and I'm glad you opened your heart to another yorkie. They certainly are little love bugs!:)

I am so happy for you. I understand what exactly you are talking about. We went through a similar situation last summer. Bailee is so handsome! Enjoy your sweet boy!!

congrats on your new boy! so cute love the puppy stage we are still in it too! have fun showing him off...we just got back from a car show and i get so many comments on my guy, all he is so cute...how big will he get, is he a boy or a girl that is my favorite ha ha

I know exactly what you mean about not being able to go long without a dog in your home. After we lost our nine year old poodle, I just felt like there was this dog shaped hole in my heart and I could hardly stand to go home in the evenings to my quiet apartment. Glad you found another furry friend to love!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your little baby. It's especially hard to lose one that has been with you for so long but I'm so glad that you found another baby to love. I felt the same way after I lost my precious Heidi in Jan. She was 18 yrs old. I decided that the three others were going to be it for me, but I ended up taking in a little blind maltese puppy in March. My heart still aches for Heidi and she will always be first in my heart, but my other girls have a part of my heart too.
