Hi Hi everyone, glad to be a member. I am a proud "mommie' of Tessie, 5-month old Yorkie. My vet says to spay at about 6 months. Any other recommendations? Connie |
Welcome. You might want to have them check for baby teeth that need removing at the same time. Better to only put them under once. |
Hi and welcome to YT! The above poster gave great advice.:) |
Hi and welcome! Agree with above. I never have them spayed until all of their adult teeth are in so any retained baby teeth can be removed at the same time.:) |

From one Connie to another, welcome to YT! Congrats on your baby! My vet always recommended waiting until they were about 7 months so he could pull any retained baby teeth at the time of the spay. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your little darling! |
Sorry...double post. |
